- 90% of the days this summer included at least some sun, allowing visitors to do what they please on Lake George, in the Village and throughout the Adirondacks almost
every day
- Americade 2007 opened the summer season celebrating its 25th anniversary, as over 50,000 people made the journey to Lake George to take part in the festivities
- The Fourth of July fireworks were some of the best ever, and the beautiful summer weather made for a fantastic evening
- 2007 marked the 250th anniversary of the Surrender of Fort William Henry, and special events were held throughout the summer season
- The 32nd annual Antique and Classic Boats Society's Meeting took place at the end of the season, bringing in over 100 boats from the US and Canada.
- Once again hundreds of of Elvis impersonators, fans and curious onlookers met up in The Village to celebrate The King. The 4th annual Lake George Elvis Festival was full of great music, food and performances.
- Sponsored by the Lake George Volunteer Fire Department, the 33rd Annual Lake George Family Festival brought big smiles to kids and parents alike.
- The Great Escape & Splash Water Kingdom Amusement Park opened up some terrific new rides and attractions, including the new favorite The Tornado.
