With free parking and free lifejackets provided, the whole family can have fun on the numerous water slides or in the wave pool. If you continue driving down route 9, you’ll find The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom where you’ll discover roller coasters, park rides, and water park rides that the whole family can enjoy. A day here will be well spent riding rides, eating food, playing games, and watching shows! The House of Frankenstein Wax Museum is another great place located on Canada Street for the family. Nearby is Dr. Morbid’s Haunted House where you can put your courage to the test. For the little ones, Funa’rama Fun Park is located nearly just across the street and features a carousel, an arcade, and both bumper cars and bumper boats.

For a hands-on approach to learning history, a visit to Fort William Henry is perfect. Travel back in time and learn about the experience of life as a soldier in 1757. The Lake George Historical Association and Museum is another good stop for a day of educational fun. All Summer long there’s free entertainment nearly every night at Shepard Park. Live music starts at 7 on Wednesday evenings in July and August, 6 on Fridays, with several music festivals and events throughout the Summer.
