  • Charles R. Wood Park is a multi-purpose park where many of the region’s top events take place, like the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival. The park also features a short nature trail if you are looking for a place to walk in the Village.
  • Discover local history at the Lake George Battlefield State Park, preserving a significant battle site from the French & Indian War and the Revolutionary War.
  • If you are looking for a park near the Village that is more immersed in nature, head to Berry Pond Preserve. Access the preserve from the Lake George Recreation Center and explore four miles of scenic trails.

  • Located just a short drive away in Fort Ann, Schuman Preserve is a great place to hike and enjoy expansive views of Lake George and the Adirondacks. 
  • Amy’s Park is located in Bolton Landing, approximately a twenty-minute drive from our resort. This quiet park is the perfect place to watch wildlife, kayak, and explore over six miles of trails.
  • Head to Hudson Pointe Nature Preserve in Queensbury for fantastic bird watching. This 83-acre preserve also features several nature trails that wind along the Hudson River. 
  • Visit Bolton Landing and explore the Cat & Thomas Mountains Preserve for panoramic views of Lake George and the Adirondacks.
