The Historic Boathouse Restaurant
Before Lake George became a popular summer destination, it was a playground for the rich and famous. In the mid-1800s, several wealthy families built cottages on the lake–including the resort and restaurant that you see today. In the 1980s, the boathouse was purchased by the Vogel family, who continue to operate the restaurant to this day. Dining at The Boathouse Restaurant is dining in a piece of Lake George history!
The Restaurant Today
Today, the restaurant is open seasonally from April to October, serving lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday. One of the best parts of our restaurant is the waterfront views! Watch boaters cruise by as you dine on the outside decks or dine inside while enjoying views from the panoramic windows.
